Glass top: 30"x 50" Oval 1/2" thick
Sinuous curves define a sculptural table created using cold-press lamination techniques. Plywood coaxed into an elegant spiral, then finished with wenge or pommele sapele with solid African Wenge end caps. Glass top is 0.5" thick with a smooth, rounded edge.
Our process entails laminating 1/8" plywood layers that are then coaxed into their final shape using a physical form under intense vacuum pressure.The final visible faces of sustainably sourced domestic and exotic veneer highlight the final shape and the inherent beauty of each veneer. The result of this tedious process is a sculpture that is a focal point in any space for years to come.
